Fr. Suresh Rajaian, SAC, with the concurrence of his provincial rector, Very Reverend Emmanuel Savariaradimai, SAC, appointed moderator and a member of the In Solidum team of priests who pastor Our Lady of Refuge Parish, Orchard Lake; Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, Farmington; Prince of Peace Parish, West Bloomfield; St. Andrew Kim Parish, Northville; and St. Fabian Parish, Farmington Hills, that form South Oakland Vicariate Family 7, effective July 1, 2024. Pending inclusion in the Family Priests’ Covenant, Fr. Rajaian will live and serve primarily at Our Lady of Refuge Parish, Orchard Lake. Fr. Rajaian currently serves as moderator and Priest In Solidum at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, Lincoln Park; Our Lady of the Scapular Parish, Wyandotte; St. Pius X Parish, Southgate; and St. Vincent Pallotti Parish, Wyandotte, that form Central Downriver Family of Parishes, primarily serving at St. Pius X Parish, Southgate.
Knights of Columbus Pancake Breakfast April 21st after the 9:30 & 11:30 Masses in the Social Hall. Adults $7.00, kids (6-11 yrs) $5, 5 yrs and under free. Proceeds support our Sacred Heart Seminarians by giving financial support for tuition, transportation and other items of need.
We will meet in the church gathering space for some snacks and visit for a while. Then we will have a no-obligation rehearsal. This is like a new semester in the final leg of the choir year. We will wrap up Sunday June 2, so it’s a short interval if you decide to stay on after the open house. Hope to see you there!

Our Lady of Refuge will be hosting our Lenten Soup and Bread Suppers Friday's during Lent at 6:30pm. We will celebrate Stations of the Cross then move over to the Social Hall to enjoy a great meal and time together as a community. You are welcomed to bring either a crock pot of your favorite meatless soup, a salad , rolls, or any creative Lenten dish you would like to share!
OLR will be featuring The Wild Goose Series this Lent and beyond!! Join us for this awesome event on Thursdays, through Lent at 7:00pm in the Social Hall. Our Lady of Refuge will be hosting our annual Soup Kitchen Volunteer Sunday, March 3rd. Volunteers are needed and service hours are available. There are two shifts—the first from 8:30-11:30am (volunteers prepare the food) the second from 11:30-2:30 when the volunteers serve the food. Teens are invited, but no one under the age of 13 yrs. old. If you have any questions or are interested in signing , please call Cindy Ciura at 248-515-7171. Cross Roads Toy Collection - Nearly 500 Toys were collected between Our Lady of Refuge Parish, OLR School and Prince of Peace. 40 Christmas Food Baskets were created and distributed for Christmas this year including toiletries, cleaning supplies and paper products.
